David J. Kent

David J. Kent is an award-winning scientist, a successful multi-book author, and an Abraham Lincoln historian. He has over 35 years of experience in scientific research, consulting, and writing, plus a lifetime of Lincoln studies. David has served as President of three different scientific organizations and is currently Vice President of Education and Outreach for the Lincoln Group of DC. His newest book: “Lincoln: The Man Who Saved America,”​ is in Barnes and Noble stores nationwide. [Tesla and Edison are there too!]

He has traveled to over four dozen countries and is the author of five books, including the best selling “Tesla: The Wizard of Electricity (2013), now into its 8th printing and translated into multiple languages. His newest book, “Lincoln: The Man Who Saved America (2017), already into its second printing, has been nominated for several awards. Previous to that, “Edison: The Inventor of the Modern World”​ was released July 2016 and is already translated into multiple languages. His articles have been published in The Lincolnian, the Smithsonian Civil War Studies online newsletter, Tesla Magazine, and other outlets.
