Kevin Groman

Kevin Groman is an attorney, business executive, entrepreneur, investor, advisor, consultant and philanthropist. His philanthropic focus has been centered on Access to Justice, Refugees/Asylees, Sustainability, and Startups.

Kevin is a member of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission and leads the In-House Counsel Pro Bono Commission (helping to bridge in house counsel to engage in pro bono efforts). He is passionately focused on directly helping Refugees/Asylees through mentoring relationships and pro bono legal aid, as well as helping to steer the community- based Arizona Refugee Coalition. In addition, Kevin is very proud to have helped lead the effort to bring RefAid to the United States (Arizona is the first state to have it implemented). Furthermore, he is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on business sustainability, and was most recently a member of the Phoenix Final Four Sustainability Committee. Lastly, Kevin is on the Investment Committee of the Arizona Founders’ Fund and is also an advisor to many startups and incubators, such as The Armory, a veteran-based incubator.

Throughout his career he has been a business executive and corporate counsel with Fortune 1000 public companies, including PetSmart (NASDAQ:PETM) and RSC Holdings (NYSE:RRR), and most recently CEO and Director of an emerging growth private company, ECM Energy Services. He also founded Crown Canyon Capital, which invests in underserved opportunities and implements innovative strategies to drive sustainable results with integrity. He focused on assembling great teams, building culture, facilitating profitable growth strategies, and delivering excellent customer service. He has a proven track record of transforming companies, driving corporate social responsibility, and enhancing shareholder value, with multiple IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and exits.

He has an Arizona bar license, with an undergraduate degree in accounting, and attributes his profound sense of team to his college days as a professional beach volleyball player.
